Often children in United Kingdom are very caring – they prepare mince pies and brandy for Father Christmas as a food and as a drink when he come to their house. Nowadays it’s usually alcohol-free drink because of Father Christmas has to be sober during drive his sled.

Every year, December 25th people listen to Queen’s Speech. The tradition of a Christmas message has its beginning long time before current Queen came to the throne. The Speech of the Queen was important element in the development of the BBC in early years of activity. The first speech was in 1932 and it was given by King George V. Queen in her speeches says about current issues of UK or world-wide and presents her approach. It is great resume of facts of the year and programs for the next. The Queen’s Christmas Message is key point of every Christmas.
